Another song - Kərkük xalq mahnısı

This is apparently based on a Turkish song, but it is very popular in Azerbaijan. I really like the version by Nərminə Məmmədova and Sinan Səid.

This is what I am learning to sing. Very beautiful rhythmic song. Second stanza is tricky to translate!

A beautiful song I have just learned. It helped me to discover a wonderful singer - Nərminə Məmmədova. Listen to her sing this song.
