I recently found another learning resource and I have just received it in the mail. A fabulous find! It's a textbook and two CDs of conversation and audio drills.
Elementary Azerbaijani by Kurtuluş Öztopçu (2003). He is a professor of Turkic languages who has spent time teaching in the US. I ordered the book online. You have to actually place the order for his book on Turkish, since the bookstore only has a PayPal link for that volume. However, if you communicate with the bookstore via email they will explain how everything should work - you order the Turkish book online, your card is charged and then they refund you the difference in the price.
