Mənim sualım var...

Mən fikirləşirəm ki, bir kəs bu suala cavab verə bilər. Mən "gooseberries"-i çox sevirəm. Mən yaxşı sous toyuq üçün bişirləşirəm. Çox dadlıdır. Amma, heç kim Azərbaycanca sözü bilmir. Mən çoxlu lüğətlərində axtarmışdım. Nəhayət, mən "motmutu" tapmışam. Düzdür?

Bu gün başqa satıcı mənə dedi ki, o quş üzümüdür.

Ms.Colleen,

I'm a native Azerbaijani speaker and I have never heard of that word. Perhaps that is because in Azerbaijan we don't eat too much motmutu or gooseberries. But if there is such a word, I learned it from you:)!
On another note, I noticed a few mistakes in your last post (like those I do when I speak or write in English). If you don't mind, I would like to humbly contribute your Azeri studies.
The object of the verb "cavab vermək" (in your post it is "sual") should not be in accusative (as you wrote sual-ı). It should be in yönəlik case: "suala cavab verə bilər".
Also, Azerbaijani has two forms of accusative case, 1) indefinite form which is what you use in "Mən gooseberries" çox sevirəm.". 2) Definite form which is distinguished from the first form by suffix. In your sentence the correct form should be the second one: "Mən gooseberries-i çox sevirəm."
You can see the difference in these two sentences:
1) Mən pivə içdim (I drank beer).
2) Mən pivəni içdim. (I drank (the) beer)
When you want to specify the object of accusative case you use the second form of the case. "So mən pivəni içdim" is somewhat similar to I drank the can of beer. "Mən pivə içdim" is similar to similar to I drank (a) can of beer.
Please note that English articles (a, the) do not always correspond to the two forms of accusative case in Azerbaijani.

Good luck to you in your studies!
